Industrial Lot

General Information:

The West Tisbury Board of Selectmen has declared the lot at 63 Old Stage Rd (Map 16 Lot 245.2) surplus for the needs of the town. The town wishes to rent this lot to a qualified entity for the purpose of providing a public service to both the town and the Island.

The successful proposal will be one that offers highest benefit to the town, subject to the restrictions of zoning, septic and parking limitations. No residential use is permitted. The property is in West Tisbury’s Industrial District, and is subject to its rules and regulations.

A minimum rent of $600/month, plus taxes has been established. The successful proposal will offer a monthly rent equal-to or greater-than the minimum.

Description of Property:

The lot’s occupiable space is approximately 12,000-square-feet, bound on all sides by town-owned property.

The property is being offered for lease for a five year term by the West Tisbury Board of Selectmen, the lessor.  The lease will be executed no later than 3 months after selection. The lease may be renewed for successive terms of five years by mutual agreement of the lessor and lessee.

Rules:

Complete RFP will be available March 4, 2021 on the town’s website at www.westtisbury-ma.gov or in the office of the Board of Selectmen at 1059 State Rd, West Tisbury.

Sealed proposals shall be delivered to the office of the Board of Selectmen no later than 2:00 pm on April 9, 2021.

Proposals shall be marked “Landfill Lease Lot” on the outside of the sealed envelope.
