  • Kuehn’s Way Affordable Housing, Island Housing Trust-for 22 Affordable rental units in the Town of Tisbury: Approved $100,000 in 2016; Project in progress.
  • Scott’s Grove Affordable Rental Housing, Island Housing Trust-for 9 units of Affordable rental units at 565 Edgartown/WT Rd:  Approved $900,000 at Fall STM 2016; Project completed.
  • Scott’s Grove Affordable Rental Housing, Island Housing Trust:  Approved $500,000 in 2017.  Project completed.
  • Scott’s Grove Affordable Rental Housing, Island Housing Trust-for partial funding for fire suppression water tank:  Approved $50,000 in 2017.  Project completed.
  • Scott's Grove Affordable Rental Housing, Island Housing Trust:  Approved $49,000 in 2018 and $61,655 in 2019 to pay down principal on the borrowing for Scott's Grove Affordable Housing development.
  • Sepiessa Affordable Rental Property expansion, to add three additional units: Approved $29,000 for predevelopment costs, 2007; Approved $250,000 for construction, 2008; Approved $70,000 for Septic upgrade and expansion, 2012; Approved $242,000 in 2013.  Project completed.
  • Rental Subsidies, for Dukes County Regional Housing Authority ongoing rental assistance program: Approved $18,000 in 2007, $30,000 in 2008, $66,000 in 2009, $104,000 in 2010, $104,000 in 2011, $86,000 in 2012, $58,000 in 2013 and $104,000 in 2014. $98,000 was approved in 2015. $92,000 approved in 2016. $80,000 approved in 2017.  $80,000 approved in 2018.  $98,000 approved in 2019.
  • Affordable Housing Bailey Park: Approved $45,000 in 2008 to fund access and electricity rights for three affordable single family homes on Bailey Park Road. In 2010, the West Tisbury Affordable Housing Trust Fund was granted $225,000 in CPA funds towards completion of this and other affordable housing projects. In 2011, and additional $80,000 was approved to construct house #2. $104,000 Approved in 2012 for house #3.  Project completed in 2014.
  • Affordable Housing, 250 State Rd, renamed Eliakim’s Way: Approved $400,000 in 2008 and $170,000 in 2009 to support affordability of six new homes; project is complete. In spring 2010, seven homes were awarded to eligible buyers by lottery; Habitat for Humanity has designated a recipient for the eighth home. All homes have been completed and are occupied by eligible families.
  • Affordable Housing, 619 Edgartown Rd: Approved $150,000 in 2012 to support construction of two affordable homes.  Project completed in 2013.
  • Second Mortgage Loans: A fund administered by the Marthas Vineyard Housing Fund to assist qualified buyers of affordable housing. Approved $50,000 in 2008, loans awarded in 2008-2009. Approved $70,000 in 2010. Approved transfer of $52,700 of these funds in 2013 to change administrator of these funds to the Island Housing Trust.  Project Cancelled, unexpended funds returned to CPC General Reserves.
  • Energy Efficient Construction: A fund administered by the Martha’s Vineyard Housing Fund to support energy efficiency in affordable housing. Approved $50,000 in 2009; in progress. All unexpended funds returned in 2014 to CPC General Reserves due to 5 year expiration per town by-law.
  • Affordable Housing Trust Fund: A fund administered by the Affordable Housing Committee and the Board of Selectmen to support affordable housing initiatives. Approved $50,000 in 2013 and $50,000 in 2014.  $300,000 approved in 2018, $250,000 to be used by the Trust if an affordable home is in danger of foreclosure, or otherwise preserving affordability of present or future affordable homes, the remaining $50,000 would be used by the Trust for future use toward affordable housing opportunities.
  • Affordable Housing 14 Village Court - VH:  Approved $65,000 in 2014 to Island Housing Trust in exchange for preference to 1 eligible West Tisbury resident or employee for one of the six Affordable Rental Units.  Project completed.
  • Affordable Housing 6 Water Street - VH: Approved $100,000 in 2015 in exchange for preference to one qualified West Tisbury resident or employee for one of the six Affordable Rental units.  Project completed.
  • Affordable Housing, Greenwood Avenue - VH:  Approved $100,000 in 2018 to Island Housing Trust in exchange for preference to one eligible West Tisbury resident or employee for one of the six Affordable Rental Units.  Project completed.
  •  Affordable Housing, Aidylberg III - OB:  Approved $75,000 in 2019 to Island Elderly Housing to build a five unit apartment building at Aidylberg Village to serve low and moderate income housing for Island elderly and veteran's groups.  Project in progress.
  • Harbor Homes - Homeless Prevention:  Approved $43,000 in 2019 to assist in purchasing and developing a five plus bedroom residential property for homeless residents.  Project completed.
