Fall Yoga
The fall session of adult Yoga classes runs Tuesdays 5:30-7:00 PM September 29 - November 17th at the West Tisbury Congregational Church Parish Hall. These classes are open to all West Tisbury residents. Click here for more information, including fees and how to register.

Halloween Party!
The West Tisbury Parks & Rec Department is sponsoring a Halloween Party on October 31st, 6:00-8:00 PM at the Ag Hall. Spooky hayride, games, prizes and more! For info call 696-0147. Click here to print out the flyer.

Beaches
Beach hours are 7 AM until 9 PM at Lambert's Cove Beach and 6 AM until 9 PM at Seth's Pond. Lifeguards will be on duty at Lambert's Cove Beach from 10 AM until 5 PM daily, from Saturday, June 27 to Saturday, August 29. There will not be a lifeguard at Seth's Pond, although the pond is available for swimming at your own risk. Times subject to change. Please respect the carry-on/carry-off trash policy. No glass containers of any kind.

Lambert's Cove Beach stickers go on sale June 20. They are sold at the new Park and Rec shed at the West Tisbury School tennis courts daily from 9 AM until 12 PM and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 4-7 PM.

Long Point
Stickers for the beach at Long Point will be sold by the Trustees of Reservations at the beach gate­house. For more information call 508-693-7392.

Car Beach Sticker    $50.00
Parking and car passenger beach access.

Walk-On Pass            $10.00
Beach access for one adult and their children under 16. It does not allow parking in the lot or along Lambert's Cove Road.

Dog Permit                 $5 per dog
This allows dogs on the beach before 10 AM and after 6:30 PM. Specific guidelines are available at the fire station.

Bus Transportation
MV Transit Authority operates bus service to Seth's Pond and Lambert's Cove Beach. You must show a Walk-On Pass to the parking lot attendant in order to gain access to the beach. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Swimming Program
Learn to swim! Strengthen your strokes! Parks and Recreation offers free Red Cross certified swim lessons for children at Uncle Seth's Pond, starting July 6, 2009. Classes will be scheduled Monday through Thursday. All levels will be taught from beginner to advanced. Sign up at the West Tisbury School tennis shed daily between 9 AM and 12 PM and Friday through Sunday from 4-7 PM.

Tennis Court Reservations
Tennis courts at the West Tisbury School may be reserved at the tennis shed daily from 9-12 AM and Friday through Sunday from 4-7 PM. To make a court reservation via phone, please call 508-693-1718 during tennis shed hours. Court fee is $20 per hour or you can purchase a key for the season for $50.

Baseball
West Tisbury has two ball fields. To schedule a time, please call the Parks and Recreation office at 508-696-0147. There is a registration fee of $25 per single use. Please respect the trash policy of "carry-on/carry off."

Night Fishing
A limited number of night fishing parking permits will be issued for fishing at Lambert's Cove Beach. This free pass will allow parking in the beach parking lot between the hours of 9 PM and 7 AM. Applications are available at the new Park and Rec shed at the West Tisbury School tennis courts daily from 9 AM until 12 PM and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 4-7 PM.
