The Selectmen shall appoint an inspector of gas piping and gas appliances in buildings and shall accept the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws (Ter.. Ed.) Chapter 143 Section 3 and are hereby authorized and empowered to establish requirements, including fees, for such inspections.
