Highway Department

Any new driveways or any alterations to an existing driveway accessing a town road shall require a Driveway Permit from the Town’s Superintendent of Streets.  Here is a link to the Bylaw pertaining to Driveways:

The following list is of the Town Roads:

Lamberts Cove Road

Indian Hill Road

South Indian Hill Road

Old County Road

Old Stage Road

Old Courthouse Road

Tiah's Cove Road/New Lane

Middle Road

Panhandle Road

Scotchman's Lane

Music Street

North Road

If your road is not on the above list, it is a private road. 

When driving on town roads if you see the crew working please drive slow and give way.
